Michael P. Santa Maria, Ph.D.
Board-Certified Neuropsychologist (ABPP-CN)
Dr. Santa Maria, a native of Western New York, earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Louisiana State University (LSU). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology through the Department of Neurology, SUNY at Buffalo.
Dr. Santa Maria received the Nelson Butters Award from the International Neuropsychological Society (INS) in 2002 for best research by a postdoctoral fellow. Dr. Santa Maria was the founding president of the New York State Association of Neuropsychology (NYSAN). He has published multiple peer-reviewed research articles and has published various book chapters. He is board-certified in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology/American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABPP-CN). Dr. Santa Maria is an active member of professional organizations including: American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (AACN), International Neuropsychological Society (INS), National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), and New York State Association of Neuropsychology (NYSAN).
